On September 19, “Grupo Posadas” and “Fibra Hotel” announced an investmet of more than 1.4 billion pesos (73 million USD) to develop a new “LIVE AQUA” hotel in San Miguel de Allende, as part of this nationwide brand.
This project is planned to become a cultural and ecological center, an icon for this prestigious group.
Governor Miguel Marquez Marquez declared that this project will be built as a part of the Cultural Center of “Santa María de Obraje”.
With the new LIVE AQUA San Miguel de Allende will be the fourth branch of “Grupo Posadas”, and they will take care of the minimum details and the highest quality standards in the current luxury hotel’s trends.
This state-of-the-art complex will feature 135 rooms, a cultural center and ecological areas.
The presentation event was attended by Mayor Ricardo Villarreal Garcia; Tourism Minister Fernando Olivera Rocha; Pablo Rodriguez, Investor; Manuel Galán, Grupo Posadas General Director; Eduardo López García, “Fibra Hotel” CEO, and Jose Manuel Casanueva de Diego, Subsecretary of Sustainable Economic Development.
