The first Ferrero’s Laboratory in the Americas opens in Guanajuato

On Thursday, October 27th , the famous Italian company Ferrero opened its first “New Products Innovation and Development Laboratory” on this side of the Atlantic, in the town of San José de Iturbide, Guanajuato.

During the opening ceremony, CEO and Regional Manager of Ferrero Mexico and Central America, Pietro Paolo Cornero said: “This new facility features equipment and infrastructure that will be used for the innovation, research and development of new raw materials.”

“Today our dream comes true, having our research and development laboratory, considered strategic for the Ferrero Group. After an analysis, we decided to establish the operation in this strategic geographical location, and now Mexico is the first country in the Americas with this kind of laboratory. “

Cornero concluded: “the idea is to generate and share knowledge, this is something fundamental in the research field in order to achieve more ambitious results, it is a win-win situation for Ferrero and Guanajuato, we are looking to create a virtuous circle here.”
