From Thursday 27 to Sunday 30, October, the city of Guanajuato will be living four days of tradition and magic with the celebration of the 3rd Edition of “La Catrina Vive Festival”, as a part of the Day of Dead (Día de muertos) traditional activities.

This celebration will take place at the University of Guanajuato featuring folkloric and classical ballets in the “Plaza de la Paz” on Saturday, 29 October at 20:30, along with dance, music, parades and contests.

One of the main attractions at “La Catrina Vive Festival” is the Catrina parade, in which the cobblestone streets of Guanajuato become full of fantastic characters, beautiful floats, and hundreds of boys, girls, men and women dressed as Catrínes or Catrinas.
