Casa Dragones and world renown chefs celebrate the anniversary of Oaxaca’s Criollo

On August 11, Criollo restaurant property of chefs Luis Arellano and Enrique Olvera, celebrated its second anniversary.

The space located in the city of Oaxaca offers an excellent menu created with regional and seasonal products, in which Casa Dragones actively participated. Dragons through an exclusive marriage with Casa Dragones Tequila Joven and its Dragons Rocks signature drink with Casa Dragones Tequila Blanco.

Four renowned chefs participated in this important gastronimic event:

  1. Jorge Vivanco -Coko Becker-, of Annabel’s Restaurant, in London, England.
  2. Alejandro Villagomez, from Costa Baja Restaurant in La Paz, BCS.
  3. Erick Guerrero, from Dos Restaurant in Boca del Río , Veracruz.
  4. Alejandro Bremont, Mexico City’s Pujol’s new chef.

All the guest chefs were part of the renowned Pujol restaurant, no.13 on the list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2018.

The chefs created an 8-course dinner-marriage to celebrate the anniversary of Criollo, in which the third course were tomatoes, ricotta and herbs, a creation by Chef Alejandro Villagómez, who decided to marry the plate with a cocktail also from his own creation that features Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco along with tomate riñón, carambolo and hoja santa.

At the end of the dinner, an after party was held in the same restaurant, where guests enjoyed various drinks, including Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco, and celebrated the anniversary of this iconic restaurant in the city of Oaxaca, which has been quickly become a benchmark in the region for the quality of its menu.
